Safehaven has been refurbished with the disabled visitor in mind. The aim has been to provide extra comfort by providing equipment that is practical yet unobtrusive. From the grab rails in the bathroom beside the WC and in the shower area, to the shower chair that can be manoeuvred easily around the wetroom; from the portable tilting table and kitchen trolley to the removable bed hoist, careful thought has been given to making things possible and comfortable.
In the twin bedroom, one of the single beds is an electric rise and recline care bed, with grab rail cot sides. A monkey pole is available for use on this bed.
Please let us know your requirements with regard to any special items you may need at time of booking. You are also more than welcome to bring your own, if you prefer.
